Cooper's New Do
I know that it's been a long time, and you probably don't want to read another blog about dogs, but check out my dog, Cooper's, new do and my sister-in-law's new golden doodle, Elle.
Cooper Before
Coop after, his fur has lost a lot of his gold, but he looks great.
This is a collage of dog pics and a movie of Coop and Elle playing:

Great Year, No Blogs
Dear Friends and Family,
It's been a fantastic year. Follow below for a thorough, yet concise, summary of our past year:
Diana got a job with JP Morgan, went to New York for seven weeks, lived in Brooklyn at the Brooklyn Marriott. She had lots of fun, met lots of people, laughed lots of laughs. I visited twice, loved the smog, loved the smell, love the sounds, the sights, the style, the tastes, loved the city.
Mom and Dad came up in October, Dad caught some fish on the South Platte.
Riley meets BENNET! Enters into her final year of College at UT.
Diana and I marry, November 15, 2008. Honeymoon in Belize. Great place, lots of iguanas, lots of bonefish, Beautiful cottage:

Learned about Belizean agriculture.
Kayaked some ocean.
Drank some rum...
Made some friends.
Fished some more.,
Enjoyed the warm.
Went home for Christmas, enjoyed our time with our families. Here's one of Banaise, Sam, Sawyer and Trouble. Trouble is another blake dog saved from the shelters.
For New Years, some friends came up, we went skiing in Breckenridge. It was a great ski season. Thanks for coming up Robert, Drew, Luke, and Kristin!

Molly & Scott came up with new friends Anne and Cassie in the spring time, for more great skiing.
\
Coop rolled in the snow.
Lola enjoyed a little more insulation.
Went skiing some more with friends, here's Hugh, Grant, William and I.
And the new Mrs. Blake and I.
For Valentine's, Diana surprises me with a trip to Austin. We go to the Salon for a night of Bennet's DJ magic.
Riley saves Tallulah from the shelter, proves herself a remarkable dog.
Cheers to Tallulah.
Diana and I visit Jess in Buenos Aires, Argentina for two weeks:

Drive through the Andes.
Watch some polo.
Stay up really late, eat lots of steak, drink lots of wine.
Support democracy, and freedom.
Yet, dig the communists (Cuban Bear).
Saw where EVITA was born. Kept walking around.
Dug Argentina.
Drove home from Midland, Lola slept. I listened to The World is Flat. Turns out, the world is flat.
Dad throws 2009 Ranch Party. It's a huge success. Asleep at the Wheel there for the second time. Mom signs them for third year. Dad gives out major awards, also a huge success.
Mom always gets the best awards, she cries, they kiss, then Dance the night away.
Jess flew in for a month, I think, enjoys the Ranch party, New York.
Marsha tells joke, shocks even her husband Greg.
Alot of cousins together, we have a great time, Ross agrees to play with his band, The Loose Cannons, for Riley's graduation. They later cancel due to the fact that the drummer is out of town. Rookie.
Kate comes in from AZ for party, has a great time. Turns out she misses Texas more than she thought previously.
Foremen on the ranches keep working the day after the party. J.M.'s on the right. He leases the grazing rights from Dad. Incredible guy with an incredible family. An incredibly large family.
We have a spectacular Cinco De Mayo party at our house. On the ninth of Mayo. Meet new friends, have lots of fun.
People drink too much...
Have great fun....
Exploit Matt's sunburn that he received in a tanning bed....
Joseph gets back from South America just in time to celebrate.
Kevin thinks long and hard as the night grows deeper...
People and dogs sleep when the dust settled.
As it stands right now, I have started contracting with my old company and Diana is searching for property to open up a boutique with her incredibly talented sister. They're both very entrepreneurial minded with great drive that will surely create success in their future. The boutique will carry clothing, jewelry, furniture, and my photos. As well as other things.
I'm looking for my next step in life, and Diana's hoping hers works out.
Cooper and Lola are doing fantastic. Coop's about six years old. His birthday is September 22, 2002. That's what I've decided. And now I have it recorded. Lola's about two and a half. Born July 5, 2006. She'll be three in about a month.
Diana and I've been married six months now, and we're still going strong. Its a lot easier to publish something whenever you've actually done something. So, we'll keep on working on getting stuff done, making life interesting, and hopefully we'll come back here to fill you in. Until then, keep loving one another, and keep doing good work. We'll talk to you then.
